Man Arrested After Saturday Night Shooting in Atlantic City

A 39-year-old man from Atlantic City is facing charges after police say he shot another man in the city Saturday night.

Copy say they responded to the 2700 block of Pacific Avenue around 9:00 Saturday night for the report of a man who had been shot. Officers located the 36-year-old victim, who was taken to ARMC-City for treatment.

An investigation by officers led to the arrest of 39-year-old Kwan Levy of Atlantic City, who was located at a motel in the same block. The handgun used in the shooting has not been recovered.

Levy was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility on aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose charges.
