NJ.com reports that a man has been arrested and charged for the shooting of a 17-year-old last week in Atlantic City during broad daylight.

The man in question is Rahsaad Norwood. At 21-years-old, he could potentially be facing some lengthy jail time for weapons and murder charges for the 17-year-old that was slain on Baltic and Tennessee avenues last week. No word yet on whether or not the 17-year-old victim was specifically targeted. The victim's name has not been released as of yet.

NJ.com reports that Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner expressed that this crime has resulted in the loss of not one, but two lives for South Jersey.

Authorities have reported that Norwood should be having his first court hearing on Monday.

This is obviously such a devastating loss for the Atlantic City community as a whole; two young lives lost too soon. Read more here.
