Man Injured During Safety Experiment at Bader Field in Atlantic City [VIDEO]
A man from Ohio, who was part of a car safety experiment at Bader Field, was injured during the event Wednesday afternoon.
According to The Press of Atlantic City, the demonstration involved crashing two cars as part of an annual convention for accident reconstructionists.
Crash experts set up a minivan and a car with a remote controlled brake system. Both were attached through a pulley system to a truck which pulled them together at about 40 MPH to simulate a crash. All was well until a man from Ohio got in the way of a loose cable that smacked him hard in the abdomen. He was taken to AtlantiCare in Atlantic City where, besides some pretty bad bruises, he was said to be doing OK.
