Wednesday's storms resulted in the death of a man at a golf course in Burlington County after he was reportedly struck by lightning.

The incident happened just before 4PM, according to 6abc.com, at Burlington Country Club on Burrs Rd. in Westampton.

NBC Philadelphia reports the man died from injuries he sustained in the lightning strike.

Further details are scarce at the moment. There's no word on the age of the victim or whether he was a patron or employee of the golf course.
