Man Shot and Killed in Pleasantville in Broad Daylight

An early afternoon shooting in Pleasantville has left one man dead an police looking for answers.

According to The Press of Atlantic City, police were called to the scene of the shooting at 1:40pm yesterday.  Police found a man shot in the head, lying on Greenfield Avenue.

The man was taken to the Trauma Unit at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus, where he was later pronounced dead.

An investigation is underway. More news is expected later today.
