Galloway Man Shot and Killed in Pleasantville, Other Shots Fired

A shooting in Pleasantville has claimed the life of a 21-year-old man from Galloway Township.

The Press of Atlantic City reports the shooting took place near Seagrass Cove and Ridgewood Avenue around 8:30 Thursday evening. One man, identified as 21-year-old Bilal Salaam of Galloway Township, was killed.

Later Thursday night, two homes on the 400 block of Alder Avenue in the city were struck by bullets. No injuries were reported in connection with this incident.

Pleasantville police and the Atlantic County Prosecutors Office continues to investigate both scenes.
