WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP (Gloucester County) — An NJ Transit bus driver was shot and killed Tuesday afternoon at the agency's garage on Black Horse Pike.

Officials say the 45-year-old driver was shot by a woman, who later shot herself to death.

The driver was identified as Ryon C. Reynolds, of the Sicklerville section of Winslow.

The shooter was identified as Piacenta M. Jackson, 44, of Woodbury. Jackson's body was found in Mantua on Center and Trenton streets.

Authorities did not say whether they knew of any motive or what the killer's relationship was to the victim.

The shooting happened around 1:30 p.m. NJ Transit spokeswoman Nancy Snyder says initial police information indicated it was "not a random act."

The garage was closed, though buses continued to operate.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
