37 year old Brian Diemunsch, of West Deptford, was arrested early Saturday morning after Manchester Police found a machete and a dirk - a type of long dagger - along with 11 bags of heroin and crack cocaine.

Police say Officer Joseph Fastige spotted the machete wedged in between the driver’s seat and the car door after pulling over Diemunsch.

Diemunsch said he works with computers and had no legitimate reason to be in possession of the weapons.  He was charged with two counts of Possession of a Weapon, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Drug Paraphernalia.

He lodged in the Ocean County Jail on $20,000 bail.
