Mara Justine of Galloway has advanced once again on American Idol.

Unfortunately, another local singer was not as fortunate.

While Mara Justine saw her idol dreams continue with a spot in the final two dozen singers, Carly Moffa, originally from Williamstown, saw her time on the program come to an end.

We never saw Moffa really sing on Idol after her original audition. She was told by the judges on last night's episode that she would be going home.

Meanwhile, on last night's episode, we got a glimpse of what makes Mara Justine so special. The show aired her solo performance of the Etta James song, "Something's Got a Hold on Me."
