A woman from Mays Landing is facing numerous charges, including driving while intoxicated and reckless driving, after she drove her SUV into a house in Egg Harbor Township early Saturday morning.

According to EHT Police, officers responded to School House Road in the township around 12:30 Saturday morning. Their investigation revealed a Ford Explorer being driven by 43-year-old Patricia L. Adams of Mays Landing, was traveling north on School House Road, when Adams lost control of the vehicle, left the road, hit a house, then rolled several times before coming to rest on the vehicle's roof.

Miraculously, Adams was not hurt, nor was anyone inside the house. The Scullville Volunteer Fire Company responded to the scene to assist and stabilize the residence, which sustained severe structural damage, as seen in the picture from the EHT Current/Shore News Today.
