More Construction and Road Closures Around New EHT Walmart Site

As work continues on the new Walmart in Egg Harbor Township, so does construction on the roads surrounding the store.

According to Atlantic County government, starting at 7AM this Thursday, May 4th, and continuing through 7PM Friday evening, Old Egg Harbor Road in EHT will be closed (weather permitting) from Hingston Avenue to Fire Road.

And then a potentially bigger headache for drivers is scheduled for the following week: From 6PM Tuesday, May 9th, through 8AM Saturday, May 13th, weather permitting, Fire Road will be closed to all traffic from Tilton Road to Washington Avenue. Officials are urging motorists to plan ahead for the Fire Road closure.

In addition, starting today, the new traffic signal at Fire and Old Egg Harbor Roads will be on flash and will begin directing traffic on May 15th.
