The discount grocery chain Lidl is now hiring for its first planned stores in South Jersey.

The German grocer currently has a store under construction on W. Landis Ave. in Vineland, which could open as early as this fall, reports Courier Post. Other South Jersey Lidl (pronounced 'leedle' like needle) locations will eventually pop up in Cherry Hill, Cinnaminson, Burlington Township, Mantua, Gloucester Township, Egg Harbor, Vineland, Millville and Upper Deerfield.

Customers who shop Lidl will be asked to use their own bags. According to Brendan Proctor, Lidl's U.S. president and CEO, "When customers shop at Lidl, they will experience less complexity, lower prices, better choices and greater confidence".
