Nor’easter To Bring Winds, Flooding, and Some Snow
A slow-moving late winter nor'easter is expected to bring high winds, tidal flooding and both rain and snow to New Jersey starting Wednesday and lasting into early Thursday.
As a low pressure area moves in from the midwest towards the Virginia coast, rain and snow will likely turn to all snow with the chance of a period of heavier snow in the afternoon & evening before ending late Wednesday night.
Forecasters have not settled on a track but a change could increase the snow accumulations from 1-2 inches for most areas to as much as 6 inches.
A Coastal Flood Watch is in effect starting Wednesday and continuing into Thursday for wind gusts up to 60 MPH especially along the southern New Jersey coast.
