Numerous Car Burglaries Reported in Absecon

The Absecon Police Department received numerous complaints of burglaries to motor vehicle during the night time hours of Wednesday, October 2nd, and the early morning hours of October 3rd.

The reported burglaries were in the surrounding areas of North Shore Road, to include Bayview Drive, Sooy Lane, Curran Drive, Howlett Lane, and Hobart Ave. All of the vehicles that were entered were believed to have been left unlocked. None of the vehicles had any damage to gain entry and only cash and small electronics were taken.

The Absecon Police Department would like to remind everyone to lock up their vehicles and to remove any valuables that might be stored inside of them. If you see any suspicious activity in your neighborhood, contact the Absecon Police Department.
