Ocean City in Final Four of National Beach Contest
"Thirty coastal states. One beach from every state. Which one of these stunning stretches of shoreline will go from contender to winner in our first-ever Best Beach in America Bracket?"
That's the way the contest was set up at coastalliving.com after Coastal Living editors asked every coastal state in America for their best beach.
Then the beaches were put head-to-head in online voting competition, with the winning beach being featured in the June 2016 issue of Coastal Living, as well as in a special online package.
Ocean City defeated Rhode island's Crescent Beach in the third round this week after beating Connecticut's Hammonasset Beach State Park in the second round and Ogunquit Beach, Maine, in the first round.
Ocean City is now facing Tybee Island, Georgia, in the Final Four with voting continuing through 5pm Thursday, March 31st.
Voting in the finals will begin later Thursday night, with a winner announced on April 4.
Now is the time to rally behind Ocean City and vote!
