At least one dog and an unknown number of other pets died early Friday morning in a fire in Vineland.

According to the Press of Atlantic City, the fire started in a storage building behind a home in the 500 block of East Pear Street.

Officials tell the Press that no humans were injured in the fire, but they are working to figure out how many animals died and how the fire started.
