Hammonton is much more than just a place on the New Jersey map. It's a real community full of life, love and blueberries. That's right, this South Jersey town is famously known as the "Blueberry Capital of the World"!

According to Wikipedia, Hammonton was named after the son one of the towns earliest settler during 1812, John Hammond Coffin.

Hammonton is located directly between Philadelphia and Atlantic City. It's an easy 30 minutes to both the city and the beach.

There are so many fun things to do there, including the 2nd Annual Hammonton Food Truck Festival which is Saturday, June 11th from 4:30 to 9:30, and of course the world-famous 30th Annual Red, White & Blueberry Festival on June 26th.

I love having dinner at the Annata Wine Bar and then stopping for blueberry custard at Royale Crown Homemade Ice Cream and Grill.

What perks do you enjoy, Hammonton residents?
