WPG Water Cooler: Phillies Call Up NJ’s Mark Leiter Jr, Unicorn Fraps Arrive, and More

Another NJ pro ball player has been called up to the Phillies! The Jersey roots don't get any deeper than pitcher Mark Leiter, Jr.. The NJIT grad from Toms River is the son of former MLB pitcher Mark Leiter and nephew of Al Leiter. He's in the bullpen amid lots of local fans, as the Phils and Mets are facing off. (We'll have to add him to our list!)

NJ native Kevin Spacey will host Broadway's biggest night, the Tony Awards! The 'House of Cards' star was born in South Orange. Spacey joked he was "second choice for Usual Suspects, fourth choice for America Beauty and 15th choice to host this year's Tony Awards." The Tonys are set for June 11 from Radio City Music Hall.

Brace yourself for the Instagram wave, as Starbucks has crafted a limited edition "Unicorn Frappuccino." The drink made with 'pink and blue fairy powders,' mango syrup and 'blue drizzle' is available at participating locations from April 19 to 23.

Another 90's kid cherished memory is getting new life. 'Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego' (computer game turned PBS game show) is becoming an animated series for Netflix. Actress Gina Rodriguez will voice the character who put the "Miss in Misdemeanor". It's set for 2019.
