Pleasantville Man Faces Murder Charge for Allegedly Killing Vineland Man

47-year-old Pleasantville resident Floyd Freeman has been charged with murder along with hindering apprehension, weapons charges, and tampering with evidence in the killing of 55-year-old Millville man William Coralluzzo.

Police found the body at around 11AM in an apartment on South 7th Street in Vineland.

Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said that Coralluzzo was strangled first then stabbed multiple times. There hasn't been any discovery yet as to the cause of the murder.

Officials say Freeman apparently asked someone for help and to hide the knife that was used to kill Coralluzzo. He also gave a different name to the police when being questioned, which is where the hindering apprehension charge comes in.
