Pleasantville Man Identified as Victim of Monday’s Shooting
Authorities have identified a Pleasantville man as the person shot in the head and killed on a local street Sunday afternoon.
Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain says Equallie M. Bumpass, 36, died of multiple gunshot wounds. The incident was first reported to police Sunday afternoon, just after 1:30. Police found Bumpass lying in the road on Greenfield Avenue.
Bumpass was pronounced dead at the hospital shortly after arrival.
