Keith S. Allen pleaded guilty to a total of six related drug and gun charges, according to the office of Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner.

The recommended sentences are to run concurrently. Two second-degree charges of unlawful possession of a handgun each carries a mandatory five-year term. Four third-degree counts of possession with intent to distribute heroin each carries a three-year sentence.

According to authorities, a housekeeper in the Golden Nugget discovered the stash in the room registered to Allen that summoned Atlantic City police to the hotel on August 19, 2016. Investigators said that they found about 454 wax folds of heroin, along wih cocaine and marijuana.

Later the same day, Allen's car was stopped near the hotel-casino. Police said he had 38 wax folds of heroin, a loaded, nine-millimeter Glock carrying 15 rounds, including 14 hollow-point bullets, and a loaded large-capacity magazine with 33 rounds of ammunition.

Two months later, Egg Harbor Township police responded to a report of firearms in a unit at Cube Smart storage leased by Allen. Authorities said the unit contained a loaded, .25-caliber semi-automatic Burgo pistol, a 5.56-caliber (DPMS) semi-automatic rifle, and ten 30-round, high-capacity magazines.

Atlantiic County Assistant Prosecutor Matthew R. Davidson is conducting the state's case. The Prosecutor's Office did not indicate Allen's legal representation.
