This past Saturday night, October 26th, Hamilton Township police officers responded to a report of an attempted robbery at a fast food restaurant. A person matching the suspect's description was arrested today.

According to a press release, officers from the Township of Hamilton Police Department responded to the Dairy Queen on Harding Highway for the report of an attempted robbery that had just occurred. The suspect entered the store and made threats to employees if they did not give him money. A description of the suspect was provided to police, however, he was not located at the time.

Today, an officer was patrolling Harding Highway when he observed a male, matching the suspect's description, walking down the road. The male was stopped and identified as Robert Clark of Mays Landing. Mr. Clark was interviewed and ultimately charged with attempted robbery. He was transported to the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $2,000.00 bail.
