Police Investigate Stabbing at Hamilton Mall

Saturday afternoon, Hamilton Township Police responded to the Hamilton Mall for a reported stabbing.

An investigation revealed that an altercation occurred in the area of the Kicks USA store.  The physical altercation moved into a common area of the mall where one subject pulled out a box cutter and proceeded to slash the victim numerous times across his body including his head and legs. The victim sustained deep lacerations and was treated at Atlantic City Medical Center in Galloway and released.

Police are still attempting to identify the suspect who was described as a heavy set black male in his late teens or twenties.
