A joint investigative effort by several different departments and agencies led to the arrest of an Egg Harbor Township man, and the recovery of over 7,500 packets of heroin, each marked "King of Death."

Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner announced the arrest of Malik Smith, 25, after a search warrant was issued for his hotel room at the Howard Johnson's Hotel on the Black Horse Pike in EHT. The arrest occurred on September 13th.

According to Tyner, here's what police recovered from the room:

- 7,575 bags of suspected Heroin. Stamped King of Death (estimated over 5 oz.)

- raw unpackaged Heroin

- Cocaine (Powder)

- Crystal Methamphetamine

- Marijuana

- Glock 19 Pistol (9mm) STOLEN from State of Georgia

- Smith & Wesson 9VE Pistol (9mm)

- Hollow Point ammunition

- 5,500 empty wax bag ready for packaging

- Cutting Agent

- Scale

- Sifters

Smith is being held on numerous charged at the Atlantic County Jail.
