Police Seek Second Driver in Fatal I-295 Crash
The driver of a box truck is being sought in connection with Sunday night's fatal accident on Interstate 295 in Cherry Hill.
New Jersey State Police say a 2011 Ford F550 pickup truck ran off the road at the Route 73 overpass and into a support beam, bursting into flames and closing the both highways for hours. The unidentified male driver was pronounced dead at the scene
The driver of a box truck involved in the accident, Joseph Tiedeman, 58, of Burlington, has not been seen since Sunday night and is listed as a missing person. He was last seen working on vehicles at a moving and storage company in Robbinsville.
He is described as 6'1" and weighing 240 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and glasses. He was wearing a red tee-shirt labeled “Road Assist Professional,” black work pants and brown boots. Police say he has connections to Pennsylvania or Delaware.
