The first local player taken in the 2018 NFL Draft was Penn State tight end and Southern Regional High School alum Mike Gesicki, but he wasn't the only local product to have his name called at the NFL Draft.

Offensive guard Jamil Demby, a Vineland High School graduate, was selected 192nd overall, in the sixth round round Saturday by the Los Angles Rams.

The 6-foot-5, 319-pound Vineland High School alum was a four-year starter at left tackle for the University of Maine Black Bears. He earned first-team FCS All-American as a senior playing tackle, but is projected to play guard at the NFL level.
