Two people have been arrested and one person remains wanted by police after authorities say a Rio Grande man was stabbed multiple times early Saturday morning.

Middle Township Police say they responded to the Rio Grande Mobile Home Park around 3:45 Saturday morning after they received a 9-1-1 call about a stabbing. Responding officers found 41-year-old Andrew Wells of Rio Grande lying on the ground with multiple stab wounds throughout his body. Wells was taken to ARMC-City for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

An investigation identified three people responsible for the stabbing -- 27-year-old Harry Angstadt, Jr., of Rio Grande; 24-year-old James W. Donnelly of North Cape May; and 22-year-old Christopher F. Fox of Rio Grande.

Fox and Donnelly were both arrested and lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center pending court proceedings. As of lunchtime Monday, Harry Angstadt, Jr., had not been located.

Angstadt, Jr., Donnelly, and Fox were charged with aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit aggravated assault. Additional charges are pending for each suspect.

The Middle Township Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding Harry Angstadt, Jr. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call (609) 465-8700.
