Ronda Rousey Says ‘Hell Yeah’ to NJ Marine’s Dance Invitation
A South Jersey Marine gets to go to the Marine Corp Ball with his celebrity crush, UFC fighter Ronda Rousey. But there is one condition.
Somerdale native Jarrod Haschert, 22, stationed at Camp LeJune in North Carolina, posted a video invitation on his Facebook page asking the championship boxer to the Dec. 11 dance in National Harbor, Md.
"You are my celebrity crush. I love everything you do and think that you are a phenomenal person which is why it would be my honor to take you to the Marine Ball," Haschert said in his video.
Rousey's next match was scheduled for Jan. 2 in Australia, meaning she would be in training and couldn't go. However, her calendar cleared up when the match was moved to November. TMZ asked if she was one of the 4 million who had seen the video and if she would accept the Stirling High School graduate's invitation.
