A Winslow Township school bus and a car have collided at the intersection of Route 73 and Cooper Folly Road in front of Winslow High School.

The bus likely bounced off a utility pole and hit a car according to 6 ABC.  CBS Philadelphia says the driver of the car, Elisabeth Canavan, bruised her knee and broke her wrist in the accident. Bus driver Patricia Mebs was not injured in the crash.

The crash also brought down a utility pole  and wires. 1,200 nearby Atlantic City Electric customers plunged into darkness have been restored.

A third driver, Stephanie McCrary hit the pole and but was not injured.

Winslow Police on their Facebook page report no children were on board the bus.

Video from the scene the bus had been hit right under the driver's window and a piece was missing from the apparent point of impact. Sand was spread under the bus for a fluid spill.

The front end of the a sedan could be seen partially wedged under the bus.

Route 73 southbound has been reopened as the bus and car have been removed.
