The crew of the Sea Isle City-based vessel “Two Dukes” pulled in a one-in-two-million catch Monday: a blue lobster.

The commercial fishing Burcaw family from Upper Township; Eric, Kevin and Erie, Sr. were about 85 miles off shore Monday when they made their remarkably rare catch.

Kevin Burcaw said he was standing near the back of the boat when he heard his brother let out a cheer, “I caught a blue lobster!”, according to Sea Isle News.com

The fisherman showed off their prize catch 1.5 pound blue lobster, which they estimate to be 7 years old to the media Thursday, saying they plan to donate the lobster to an aquaruium for all to see.
