It was February 2, 2017 that the remains of an Egg Harbor Township man were found on Doughty Road in EHT, next to the Atlantic County Utilities Authority landfill.

Barry Brown, 55, was first reported missing on October 7, 2014. According to Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner, Brown's death was ruled a homicide. The search for his killer continues today.

“As we were able to positively identify these remains as those of Barry Brown and also determine the cause of death to be a homicide, I urge anyone with information about Barry Brown’s disappearance and subsequent death to come forward and speak with our investigators,” Prosecutor Tyner said.
