Range 609 in Rio Grande is holding an event Wednesday evening at 5:30 where they're letting people come with their football jerseys -- that they may like to discard -- and shoot them.

Christopher Chin of the gun range shared the reason behind this:

"I am a US Marine veteran and I was in NY during 9/11. I remember when sports gave the people a break from everyday life and brought people together for entertainment. I am so sad at what this has become and this is what I can do to help show my feelings."

So, if you're feeling a change of heart towards your "favorite" sports team, let Range 609 help you get rid of your old merchandise in an exhilarating way.
