Bobby Moynihan's Chris Christie returned to Saturday Night in the show's opening sketch about the presidential campaign.

In a spoof of the expression on the governor's face as Trump spoke at a press conference following the Super Tuesday primary,  Moynihan's Christie stands in back of Darrell Hammond's Trump as he gives his victory speech.

"As I was saying, everyone loves me. I even got this fat piece of crap behind me now. Isn't that right Chris," asks the Donald of Christie in the sketch, who responds "Yes sir. Thank you sir. Please sir may I have another?"

Trump then calls Christie a "sad desperate little potato back there" to which the governor gives the same response. Trump answers with "No. Get on a plane. Go home."  As Christie walks off, he said "you got it."

Christie set Twitter ablaze with the expression on his face at the press conference with jokes about him being a hostage and having second thoughts about backing Trump's candidacy.

At his own press conference on Thursday, Christie said "No, I wasn't being held hostage. No, I wasn't sitting up there thinking, 'Oh, my God, what have I done?'" He said it "wasn't the kind of circumstance where I'd be jumping up and down, cheering and smiling."
