Somers Point is Making Way for a New Hilton Hotel on MacArthur Blvd.

Somers Point is making way for a Hilton Hotel right on Route 52, or MacArthur Boulevard, opening possibly as early as summer, 2018.

The Press of Atlantic City reports the site is being developed by PRA Development/Management and is directly across from the Windjammer Restaurant.

Home2 Suites by Hilton is set to be four-plus stories high with 114 rooms.

Greg Sykora, Head of Somers Point's Economic Development Advisory Council, tells The Press of Atlantic City, "it brings a whole new layer of tourism to the town."
