Today marks the 17th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks and we remember and honor the thousands who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

There are numerous memorials that pay tribute to the nearly 3,000 fallen heroes from the terror attacks at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and near Shanksville, PA.

In fact, in the Garden State there are more then 150 memorials you can visit year round to remember the victims, including gardens, statues, plaques and parks. Here's were you can find 9/11 memorial sites in South Jersey, courtesy of New Jersey's official website for tourism.
