South Jersey Teen Seriously Hurt in Hit-and-Run
A South Jersey high school student was seriously hurt by a hit-and-run driver early Sunday morning.
The Pennsville High School athletic department Facebook page identifies the student as Kyle Pszenny, a member of the school's football team.
The 17-year-old was riding his skateboard near Hook Road at Lee Avenue when he was struck around 2 a.m according to Pennsville Police by a Hyundai Elantra with extensive front-end damage that left the scene.
Pzenny was taken to Christiana Hospital in Delaware for severe head injuries. The PMHS athletic department Facebook page reports he had surgery for swelling of the brain which last several hours
