A 22-year-old woman who fell down an elevator shaft at Boston's Fenway Park is from Brigantine.

CBS Boston reports Lizzie Scotland was with her father just hours after graduating from Boston University's business school on Friday.

Scotland is the daughter of the Rev. John Scotland of Brigantine’s Community Presbyterian Church  according to the Press of Atlantic City.

Boston Police told the Boston Globe they consider the incident an accident and will their investigation is complete.

"The Massachusetts Department of Public Safety and the Boston Police Department are working to determine exactly what happened," according to a statement from the Boston Red Sox.

The Boston Fire Department says Scotland fell through the elevator shaft's fourth-floor doors landing on to the roof of the elevator at the second floor.

Rescuers reached the woman through a hatch in the elevator's roof and transported her to a hospital.

Fenway Park, the oldest ballpark in the major leagues, opened in 1912 and is home to the world champion Boston Red Sox.
