It could (finally) be our turn to get a taste of winter with some snow in the forecast for Thursday afternoon and night.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for a fast moving storm that could drop 4 to 6 inches of heavy, wet snow starting Thursday afternoon into the evening -- if the storm comes together as weather forecasting models are anticipating.

The snow will stick to tree limbs and power lines but there is no threat of coastal flooding or damaging winds. Temperatures over all of New Jersey will fall below freezing as the snow ends.
