State Police in Bridgeton are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman wanted for stealing a woman's purse and using the victim's credit card in the Bridgeton area.

Police say back in September 2015, the suspect removed another woman's purse from a shopping cart at the Shoprite in Upper Deerfield Township.

The suspect used the victim's credit card at ShopRite, and then used it to make purchases at three additional businesses in Bridgeton City, which purchases totaling more than $800. Several weeks later, the purse was found and returned to the victim.

The suspect was driving a maroon Ford F150 with tan trim along the bottom, silver running guards along the truck bed, and a silver trailer hitch. The truck was a 2-door extended cab with no front license plate.

If you can help police with an identification of the suspect, you're urged to call Trooper Dana Funk, Bridgeton Station, at 856-451-0101. Anonymous tips are welcome.
