State Police Searching for a Driver Who Struck and Killed a Port Norris Woman
The New Jersey State Police is asking for the public’s help with finding a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a woman from Cumberland County Monday night.
Late Monday night, State Troopers say 53-year-old Sandra Gross of Port Norris was struck in the northbound lane of North Avenue by an unidentified vehicle. Based on their preliminary investigation, detectives have determined that the victim was lying in the road at the time she was struck. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives are attempting to find the driver that struck Gross for questioning. Anyone with information is asked to contact the NJSP Port Norris Barracks at (856) 785-0036. Anonymous tips are welcome.
