Discussing the ongoing gun control debate on Tuesday night's Ask The Governor program on NJ 101.5, Chris Christie said it's easier in New Jersey for "bad guys" to obtain guns than good people.

Front-running Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump did not back down Tuesday from his call to ban Muslims from entering the U.S. He told CNN that he was doing what was right and he didn’t care that fellow GOP candidates are rejecting his position. Tuesday night on Townsquare Media’s Ask The Governor program, Gov. Chris Christie offered his opinion.

Gov. Chris Christie struck a more subdued tone this weekend over allowing foreigners into into the United States on visas than he has about accepting them as refugees.

"I'm sorry, the power of prayer is the most powerful thing in the world," Christie told Greta Van Sustren on Fox News.

On Thursday, one day after the mass shootings in Southern California that killed 14 people, New Jersey Assembly members from both sides of the political aisle invoked or at least referenced the tragedy as they debated an override attempt of Gov. Christie’s veto of a gun control bill that would make it more difficult for mentally ill people to buy a gun.
