A 17-year-old boy has been charged in the killing of an Atlantic County woman who was shot to death in August, while sitting in a car in Camden.

The Camden County Prosecutor's office says Michelle Huelas, 46, a Buena Vista Township, Atlantic County mother of five was sitting in the passenger seat of a car when she was shot.

Camden County Police were flagged down at about 4pm Aug 11 by a man who said his wife had been shot.  Michelle Huelas was found with a gunshot wound and she died later, authorities said.

The prosecutor's office has not released any other details about the shooting or the suspect's name, because he is a juvenile. The teen has been charged with first-degree murder and is being held in the Camden County Juvenile Detention Center.

In addition to her husband and five children, Huelas is survived by her mother and two grandchildren, according to her obituary.
