Atlantic City’s Historic “The Claridge Hotel” was filled with excitement and eagerness as guests awaited the revealing of the new national offices for the Miss America Organization on Wednesday, July 22.

Guests filled the lobby of the Grand Ballroom to welcome the reigning Miss America 2015, Kira Kazantev. Also in attendance were honorable Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno, honorable Mayor Don Guardian, Executive Chairman and Ceo Sam Haskell, III, Chief Operating Officer Josh Randle, and more.

Kazantev kicked off the conference by reflecting on her visits to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals around the world, sitting in on over 14 different nation shows and appearances, and her honorable visit to our troops across the country. Kazantev states that the best part of her trip was taking a piece home to the troops.

“The Miss America Organization provides such a moral booster,” states Guadagno. “You can not put a price on this organization. It represents the brightest and smartest women in America.”

In just a few weeks Kazantev will be crowning the next Miss America but reminds the audience that this time last year she was working in a restaurant in New York City preparing for Miss America. The daughter of two Russian immigrant parents and yet pursing and achieving the America Dream. Last year, the Miss America pageant was the number one non-sports program watched in the country.

“Don’t loose sight that we provide assistance for millions of women in the country,” states Haskell.

Following the ceremony was the official ribbon cutting at the Claridge Park where Kazantev officially held the big red scissors and cut the red ribbon. The Claridge Hotel was happy to announce the unveiling of the new offices as tours preceded the event. The new space is filled with memorabilia as they honor past title holders but holds enough space to commemorate the lucky women who will become Miss America 2016.
