The Most Popular Valentine’s Candy Won’t Be Available in South Jersey

Valentine's Day is coming and if you're a big lover of Sweethearts candy, you're out of luck. Here's why they won't be on shelves anywhere for 2019.       

Sorry sweethearts, but according to the website Candy Store, the popular candy will be MIA this Valentine's day because the company that made Sweethearts Neco, has gone out of business which ultimately making the iconic candy a no go on shelves for  Valentine's Day 2019.

Sweethearts have been around since 1886. Last year alone, Neco produced over 100,000 pounds of Sweethearts every single day and 8 billion each year.

There is talk about Sweethearts coming back for Valentine's Day 2020 but for now, you'll have to find another way to express yourself!
