This Video Will Break Your Heart

Wheb Lisa Williams and her husband landed at Raleigh-Durham International Airport the pilot announced to the passengers that there was a fallen soldier on board and to please keep their seats.

Lisa was in the seat right above the casket of Green Beret WO1 Shawn Thomas and his grieving widow, Tara. It was Valentine's Day, 2017.

WO1 Thomas died in a vehicle accident while serving overseas in Africa. Shawn and Tara have 4 children.

As a proud member of a United States Military family, I think it is so important that civilians see the sacrifice the United States Military makes for our country. Although it is hard to watch sometimes, it is important to see, remember and to be thankful.
