Toms River’s Kmart Will Officially Be Closing

Another Ocean County Kmart will be closing its doors.

Just today, multiple reports came out listing 80 Kmart and Sears stores that are pegged for closure in as soon as the next two weeks.

Among the list is Ocean County's only remaining Kmart on Route 37 in Toms River.

It's all part of the bankruptcy process of Sears Holdings, which lead to the closing of the Ocean County Mall's Sears, which started just about a year ago, and the shuttering of Brick's Kmart earlier this year.
