The iconic Tony's Baltimore Grill has filed for bankruptcy protection. Sounds absolutely horrible at first glance.

But, hopefully this will help them discharge a lot of problematic debt, reorganize, and they'll be around for years to come.

Tony's has been an Atlantic City institution for 50 years (since 1966). My wife, Margie, and I basically fell in love on our regular dates there more than 35 years ago.

We still patronize Tony's regularly. Their food is still great. The same long-time people work there and recognize you every time you go in.

We have to band together and defeat this political scheme to put casino gaming in North Jersey.

If this can happen to Tony's, imagine what will happen if two to four more Atlantic City casinos close over the next few years.
