Two Arrested in Mays Landing on Drug Distribution Charges

Two people were arrested Thursday evening for allegedly dealing drugs out of a vehicle in the parking lot of Walmart in Mays Landing.

Officers responded to the parking lot of Walmart in Mays Landing around 6:30 Thursday evening after receiving a call about two men dealing drugs out of a vehicle. Officers say 24-year-old Robert Strong of Egg Harbor City and 23-year-old Steven Mack of Mays Landing were dealing percocet pills and marijuana. Officers seized the remaining quantity of percocet pills, marijuana, and $2,835.

Both men were charged with possession of schedule II drugs, possession of schedule II drugs with intent to distribute, possession of prescription pills, possession of prescription pills with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, and conspiracy. Bail was set at $50,000; both posted bail and were released.
