Two Shot at a Large Gathering in Cumberland County

Two men are in the hospital after getting shot early Sunday morning in Cumberland County.

According to WPVI-TV, the New Jersey State Police received several 911 calls and responded to the area of the 1500 block of North Street in Port Norris around 1:30 Sunday morning. They found about 200 people gathered in the woods. Officers had to call in police from Bridgeton and Millville to help get the crowd under control.

Two men were shot; they were flown to area hospitals. There was no immediate word on their conditions. Police have not reported any arrests or said what led to the shootings.
