Two teenagers in Atlantic City are now in trouble with the law after they were arrested for allegedly committing an armed robbery Friday night in Atlantic City.

Just after 10:00 Friday night, officers responding to an armed robbery call at the Baba Jones Food Market in the 200 block of South Rhode Island Avenue, in the shadows of the former Revel Casino, in Atlantic City saw two people fleeing the area.

Officers were able to take the two men into custody. The firearm used in the robbery, which was later determined to be a replica, was discarded as the suspects fled.

18-year-old Primitivo Garcia of Atlantic City is now facing robbery, conspiracy, unlawful possession of a handgun, and possession of handgun for an unlawful purpose charges; he is being held on $100,000 bail. A 16-year-old male from Atlantic City is facing the same set of charges; he was remanded to Harborfields Detention Center.
